Wheeler Farm

These last three weeks have been so fun, exciting, sad (for me, not Colby), stressful, busy, and relaxing. We were in Utah for one week, Texas the next week, and then San Diego the third week. It was a busy three weeks, but all worth it! The kids always have a blast when they are with their Grandparents. One of the days we were in Utah we headed to Wheeler Farm. Seth loved seeing the animals and he called every single animal there a dog. He loves dogs, but still can't see the difference between a dog and a pig. The second week, me and Colbs headed to Dallas to find a house. That was the sad part for me. Colby is so used to being away from the kids, but this was my first time and I have to admit that I was a BIG baby about it. That first day was so hard for me. Yes I cried on the way to the airport, when I talked to Tatum before getting on the airplane, and probably one more time later that day. However, the rest of the week was AWESOME!!! I didn't have to get anyone else dressed, change any diapers, fix food for anyone, and I was able to wake up whenever I wanted. I totally recommend taking a vacation without the kids. I totally missed them a ton, but it was so nice having a break.
While we were in Dallas we found a house, but buying a home is NOT that exciting. It was fun looking for one and finding one, but now that we have to go through the long process of dealing with "the devil" (the underwriter), it is nothing close to fun. Those people want to control your life!!! Anyway, I LOVE the house we found and I can't wait until we can move in it.  I will post some pictures of it real soon.
After Dallas, we headed to San Diego to take a family vacation with some of Colby's family. It was so fun! We stayed in the nicest beach house in Oceanside. We took the kids to Sea World, a couple of museums, and just hung out on the beach. Both Tatum and Seth loved the beach and the ocean. I couldn't keep Seth out of the water. I will post some pictures of our San Diego trip later. Here are some cute pict's from Wheeler Farm.

Tate was so excited to ride the pony. However......the boy taking her on the ride was all ponied out!

Seth wouldn't leave them alone. He kept chasing them all over.

Congrats on getting a house! I agree with you - the process is NOT fun and now begins the packing! I'm glad you had a good break and your vacation to San Diego sounds like it was a lot of fun. I'm excited to see your pictures!
