we had the BEST halloween surprise this year! on a tuesday night i was getting everything ready for our little halloween party and the door bell rang. when i went to answer the door, all i could see were two people in masks. it was my mom and keith!!!! we had NO IDEA they were coming to visit. colby didn't even know. when i opened the door, i was in complete shock and so were my kids. we all three just stood there trying to figure out what was going on. we were so excited to see them and we had such a great halloween with them. guess who else came to surprise us that same day? my little brother danny. the kids love uncle d and love waking him up super early in the morning.

we went trick or treating three times this year! it was a lot and we have a lot of candy. here are some more fun pics from halloween.
