The Ringling Bros. and Barnum Bailey circus came to town. We ended up going with a bunch of other residents. I was excited to take Tatum since she has never been to a circus before. Well....let me just tell you that it is the LAST time we are going to a circus for a long, VERY long time! Tatum was SO good during it, but Seth was seriously crazy!!! Seth screamed, cried, head-butted, and did free falls down the stairs the whole time. I am not exaggerating! Colby and I had no control over this kid. I am totally admitting that my little boy is only sweet 15% of the time and crazy 85% of the day right now. I was able to handle the girl DRAMA Tatum had around two years old, but Seth's little tude that he has had lately has got to end! Luckily, we were in one of those boxed seating areas so Seth could somewhat run around. I do love him to death, but those of you that I have talked to who have gone through this with their cute boys (Annie) have made me realize that it WILL get better sometime. Let's just hope it is soon or cute little Seth won't have any little siblings! I really think he is reaching his TERRIBLE TWOS at 17 months old.
You are probably thinking, "weren't there a ton of things there to distract him." Sure there were! There were tigers, elephants, clowns, dirt bikes, and $20 toys, but I swear it just made him more hyper and crazy. Anyway, here are some cute pictures from the fabulous day at the circus. As you can see in the pictures, we all seemed happy. That is because they were taken before the big show started!! My poor kids won't be going to another circus until they are older or unless it is with Grandma and Big Papa!!
They are so cute huh!

Oh they really are SO cute. That Seth, bring him to my house and I will squish his cheeks all day long. His smile is to die for.
Oh man, I hear you on the terrible two thing. I think Joshua and Seth are paving the way for some interesting times ahead...good think we have Tatum and Audrey's sweetness (and sassiness) to mix it up a little.
P.S. You happen to be the best stepper I have ever met. I can't believe you have NEVER done a step class before. HA! :)
I love the bottom picture with Seth and Colby. He looks great in make-up.
That first picture of Seth looks EXACTLY like Danny! Maybe he got Danny's wild side too!
And my little Taters looks so cute! Tell her I miss her.
Oh my gosh, Mandy, I feel like I could have written your exact blog for Duncan. The child is out of control. After a horrendous church experience on Sunday Ricky and I talked about the fact that he really is not the best kid. I mean, darling, charming, cute, but also so darn crazy. Into everything, waking up early, never wanting to be contained. I love the child to death but sure am happy when Ricky makes it home everyday!
The naughtiness is a BOY thing. Trust me.....I have TWO of them!
I love the pictures; they are both so BEAUTIFUL!
Yikes! Sounds like a little boy I know named Griffin! I swear Griff never does the normal thing anywhere we go. He just wants to run and be crazy. I guess that's why they are so cute. It makes up for the naughtiness! He is getting better, though. Except today he started throwing fits. Go figure.
Your kids are so cute. Those professional pictures of them are darling. It makes me wish my kids were photogenic. Every time I try to get good pics of them it doesn't work out. Oh well. I have been out of the blogging world for a while now so it was fun to see what you're up to.
Boys, I tell you:) It will get better but unfortunately that won't last.....from here on out you're going to be on a lil roller coaster ride. Good, bad, good, tolerable, good, bad and repeat. He he he. The joys of Motherhood....that I wouldn't trade for anything. It's worth every minute....good or bad.
At least you got some awesome pictures out of a hard afternoon:)
