Hard night for Tatum...

It is getting harder and harder to leave Utah now that Tatum is getting older. She has the hardest time leaving everyone, especially her Grandma's and Grandpa's. We have now been back in Washington for about two weeks and she has still not recovered. This time has been the hardest. She has been waking up during the night crying because she misses what she has in Utah. When her little friends leave to go back to Utah to visit their Grandparents, it only reminds Tatum of hers and makes her feel sad again. Tonight was a hard night for her. She was all tucked in bed for about ten minutes and then I heard her sad little cry. When I went in her room and asked her what was wrong, she told me she just misses her Grandma and Big Papa. We were able to get on the webcam tonight with my whole family so I think it made her realize that everyone was at Grandma's house except her. Whenever she is feeling sad she always calls my mom to make her feel better. So tonight Tatum called her and they sang a couple songs and talked about what they will do together when we are in Utah again. I always get tears in my eyes seeing how sad she gets from missing them. It made me wish we lived closer when she said to her Big Papa, "Everyone is at your house, but I am not." Also, yesterday in the car she saw a light in the sky and asked me what it was. I told her it was a plane and she told me not to say that because it made her miss Grandma since you have to take a plane to Utah. I am so glad that we will be traveling back to Utah in April so Tatum can be around family. I told her that tomorrow morning we will make a chain so she can start counting down the days. Tatum finally fell asleep tonight with Grandma and Big Papa in her arms.
